Cause : Over current in Deceleration comes when deceleration time too short, large load inertia or inverter power rating too small.
Er103 fault in Inovance CS710 drive indicates Over current in Deceleration. This means the current flowing through the motor and drive during the slowing-down phase exceeds a preset limit.
- The output circuit is grounded or short circuited.
- The control mode is vector control but motor auto-tuning is not performed.
- The deceleration time is too short.
- The voltage is too low.
- A load is added during deceleration.
- No braking unit and braking resistor are installed.
Solution:
- Eliminate faults of peripheral devices.
- Perform motor auto-tuning.
- Increase the deceleration time.
- Adjust the voltage to the normal range.
- Remove the added load.
- Install the braking unit and braking resistor.
