Fault F1910 in Siemens G120 drive indicates a "Fieldbus interface setpoint timeout" (communication loss). This means the drive has stopped receiving control signals via Profibus/Profinet from the PLC, usually caused by broken cables, poor EMI shielding, or the PLC master being in STOP mode

Troubleshooting Steps for F1910:
  • Check Communication Cable & Shielding: Inspect the Profibus/Profinet cable for breaks and ensure the shield is properly grounded to prevent electrical noise interference.
  • Verify Master Status: Ensure the PLC/Master is in RUN mode and not halted.
  • Check Watchdog/Timeout Time: Increase the telegram failure time in parameter (e.g., set to 100ms or higher) to allow for minor communication delays.
  • Ensure Proper Termination: Check that bus terminators are on for the last node in the network.
  • Control Word: Confirm that Bit 10 in Control Word 1 (often used for PROFIdrive mapping) is high
