A052 alarm in WEG CFW900 Drive indicates an IGBT1 W Overtemperature. This means the W-phase power module is running unusually hot, warning of a potential thermal shutdown if cooling is not improved.
Cause:
- High ambient temperature around the inverter (>50 °C) and high output current.
- Blocked or defective cooling fan.
- Inverter heatsink is too dirty, preventing proper cooling airflow.
Note: It can be disabled by setting parameter C7.5.1.
Remedy:
Clean the heatsink. Check if the cooling fan is blocked or defective. Ensure surrounding ambient temperature is within limits.
