A149 alarm in WEG CFW900 Drive indicates a Timeout on Modbus TCP. This means the Modbus TCP client stopped sending telegrams to the drive within the configured timeout period.
Cause:
It indicates that the device stopped receiving valid telegrams for a period longer than the setting in C9.6.3. The time counting starts as soon as it receives the first valid telegram.
- Check network installation, broken cable or fault/poor contact on the connections with the network, grounding.
- The Modbus TCP client is not actively sending telegrams to the equipment in a time shorter than the setting in parameter C9.6.3.
Note: This function can be disabled in parameter C9.6.3.
Remedy:
Check connections, cables, and grounding. Ensure the master/client is sending telegrams faster than the timeout configured in parameter C9.6.3, or adjust C9.6.3 to disable the timeout.
