A187 / A188 / A189 Pow. Fan 2, 3, 4 Speed Heatsink fan low speed alarm fault in WEG CFW900 Drive.
These alarms indicate a Heatsink Fan Low Speed. This means a cooling fan is struggling to rotate at its rated speed, warning of dirt buildup or bearing wear.
Cause:
- Dirt on the fan blades and rolling bearings.
- Defective fan hardware.
- Defective fan power supply line connection.
Remedy:
Check fan bearings and clear dirt build-up from blades. Ensure power supply connections to the fan are secure. Replace the fan module if mechanically defective.
