A187 / A188 / A189 Pow. Fan 2, 3, 4 Speed Heatsink fan low speed alarm fault in WEG CFW900 Drive.

These alarms indicate a Heatsink Fan Low Speed. This means a cooling fan is struggling to rotate at its rated speed, warning of dirt buildup or bearing wear.
Cause:

  • Dirt on the fan blades and rolling bearings.
  • Defective fan hardware.
  • Defective fan power supply line connection.

Remedy:
