F0076 fault in WEG CFW701 Drive indicates a Motor Current Unbalance. This means the drive detected an uneven current draw across the motor phases, suggesting a loose connection or damaged winding.
Cause:
- Loose connection or broken wiring between the motor and inverter connection.
- Vector control with wrong orientation.
- Vector control with encoder, encoder wiring or encoder motor connection inverted.
Note: This fault can be disabled by setting parameter P0342 = 0.
Remedy:
Verify all output cable connections between inverter output and motor terminal box. Check vector control tuning and orientation. Verify encoder cables and phasing. Setting P0342 to 0 disables this fault.
