F072 fault in WEG CFW900 Drive

F072 fault in WEG CFW900 Drive indicates a Motor Overload. This means the calculated motor temperature model exceeded safe limits due to sustained excessive load.
Cause:

  • Parameters C7.4.3, C7.4.4, and C7.4.5 settings are configured too low for the used motor.
  • Load on the motor shaft is too high.

Note: This fault can be disabled by setting parameter C7.4.1 = 0 or 3.

Remedy:

Verify motor nominal currents. Check settings of parameters C7.4.3, C7.4.4, and C7.4.5. Check for mechanical load blocks on the motor shaft.
