Cause : OVERVOLTAGE comes when the DC bus voltage has exceeded its maximum allowable limit. This means that the DC voltage feeding the drive is higher than the acceptable level.

The A2002 code on an ABB ACS150 drive indicates an overvoltage alarm. This means that the DC voltage feeding the drive is higher than its acceptable limits.

  1. Check deceleration time (parameters 2203 DECELER TIME 1 and 2206 DECELER TIME 2).
  2. Check input power line for static or transient overvoltage.
