A2B4 Warning in ABB ACS180 drive comes when drive detect short-circuit in motor cable or motor and faulty IGBT module in drive.

Cause : Short-circuit in motor cable(s) or motor - comes when drive detect short-circuit in motor cable or motor and faulty IGBT module in drive. Follow these steps to correct fault :
- Check motor and motor cable.
- Check there are no power factor correction capacitors or surge absorbers in motor cable.
- Check for an earth fault in motor or motor cables by measuring the insulation resistances of motor and motor cable.
