Cause : OVERCURRENT comes when the motor connected to the drive is drawing more current than the drive is rated for. Output current limit controller is active.
The A2001 overcurrent alarm on an ABB ACS355 drive indicates that the drive has detected an overcurrent condition. This typically means that the current flowing to the motor has exceeded the drive’s set limits.
- Check ambient conditions.
- Load capacity decreases if installation site ambient temperature exceeds 40 °C (104 °F).
