Cause : Brake resistor wiring comes when brake resistor short circuit or brake chopper control fault or a problem with the brake resistor wiring or the brake chopper control.
A fault code 7184 in an ABB ACS560 drive indicates a problem with the brake resistor wiring or the brake chopper control.
- Check brake chopper and brake resistor connection.
- Ensure brake resistor is not damaged.
