The code 5482 in your ABB ACS800 drive indicates a PP Overload warning. This signifies that the drive has detected an excessive temperature at the IGBT ( Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor) junction within the inverter module.

The reason of this fault is excessive IGBT junction to case temperature. This can be caused by excessive load at low frequencies (e.g. fast direction change with excessive load and inertia).
