Cause : Earth leakage comes when IGBT supply unit has detected an earth fault due to urrent is flowing through an unintended path to the ground (earth) instead of completing the circuit through the motor windings.

A 2E01 fault code in your ABB ACS880 drive indicates an earth leakage fault. This means current is escaping the intended path in the motor circuit and leaking to the ground (earth). This can be a serious issue and should be addressed promptly.

1. Check AC fuses.
2. Check for earth leakages.
3. Check supply cabling.
4. Check power modules.
