Cause : Short circuit comes when IGBT supply unit has detected short circuit. This means an unintended path has formed within the IGBT supply unit, allowing current to flow uncontrollably. 

A 2E02 fault code in your ABB ACS880 drive indicates an Short circuit fault. This fault signifies the drive's internal control system has detected an issue short circuit in IGBT unit.

1. Check supply cable.
2. Check there are no power factor correction capacitors or surge absorbers in supply cable.
3. After correcting the cause of the fault, reboot the control unit (using parameter 96.8 Control board boot or by cycling power.
