Cause : External warning 4 comes when fault in external device 4. This is a programmable warning and reset by parameter.
The A984 warning in your ABB ACS880 drive indicates an issue with an external device connected to the drive and monitored by a programmable warning function.
- Check the external device.
- Check setting of parameter 31.7 External event 4 source.
