How can resolve problem F515 M1FexOverCur Motor 1 field exciter over current Fault In ABB DCS800 ?

Check: In case this fault happens during field exciter autotuning deactivate the supervision by setting

M1FldOvrCurLev (30.13) = 135
M1FldOvrCurLev (30.13)

 

Parameter settings of group 44 (field excitation: field current controller tuning)

1. Connections of field exciter
2. Insulation of cables and field winding
3. Resistance of field winding

What is condition of fault means when fault comes after run command or coming continuously?

@click2electro after full speed reached and then during when speed decrease from full speed  the fault occurs

Check motor data in group 99 and autotune motor field and armature.

@click2electro autotune is successful in both motor field and armature

Check field current in parameter group 1

Parameter 1.30 - ..... Actual field current

And check in field terminal using clamp meter , compare both 

 

What is the motor field current value in motor name plate ?
