5080 fault in ABB DCS880 drive indicates drive fan acknowledge. This means drive cooling fan feedback at the DI is missing.
- Check the drive fan operation and connection.
- Check the drive fan contactor.
- Check the drive fan circuit.
- Check the drive fan klixon.
- Check the drive fan components.
- Check the drive fan supply voltage.
- Check the drive fan direction of rotation.
- Check the drive door open.
- Check the drive cooling air inlet (e.g. filter).
- Check the drive cooling air outlet.
