7081 fault in ABB DCS880 drive indicates Control panel/PC tool link communication issue. This means control panel/PC tool has stopped communicating.
- Check the setting of 49.05 Communication loss action.
- Check the control panel/PC tool connection cable.
- Check the control panel connector.
- Check the mounting platform if being used.
- Disconnect and reconnect the control panel/PC tool.
