Cause : HW OverCurrent comes when the drive output current has exceeded the hardware current limit. "HW OverCurrent" typically refers to a hardware overcurrent fault in drive.

This fault indicates that the drive has detected an overcurrent condition in its hardware components, which could potentially damage the drive or associated equipment if not addressed promptly. 

  • Check programming. Check for excess load, improper A530 [Boost Select] setting, DC brake volts set too high or other causes of excess current.
