Warning /Alarm in 29 VLT FC301/ FC302 : Heat sink temp - The maximum temperature of the heat sink is exceeded. The temperature fault is not reset until the temperature drops below a defined heat sink temperature. The trip and reset points are different based on the drive power size.

Check for the following conditions:

1. The ambient temperature is too high.
2. The motor cables are too long.
3. Incorrect airflow clearance above and below the drive.
4. Blocked airflow around the drive.
5. Damaged heat sink fan.
6. Dirty heat sink.
