Cause : Inverter overload comes when the frequency converter is about to cut out because of an overload (too high current for too long). The counter for electronic, thermal inverter protection gives a warning at 90% and trips at 100%, while giving an alarm.

  • Compare the output current shown on the control panel with the drive rated current.
  • Compare the output current shown on the control panel with measured motor current.
  • Show the thermal drive load on the control panel and monitor the value.
  • When running above the drive continuous current rating, the counter increases.
  • When running below the drive continuous current rating, the counter decreases.
