danfoss vlt 2800 fault codes - Are you encountering errors with your Danfoss VLT 2800 frequency converter? This comprehensive guide provides a detailed list of fault codes, their meanings, and troubleshooting tips to help you identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Below list show danfoss VLT 2800 fault codes:
- Err11 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Motor thermistor error. This means the thermistor might be disconnected. The motor is too hot or the thermistor/thermistor connection has been disconnected.
- Err10 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Motor overload temperature. This means the motor is too hot. Select whether the frequency converter gives a warning or an alarm when the counter reaches 100%. The fault occurs when the motor is overloaded by more than 100% for too long.
- Err9 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Inverter overload condition. This means the frequency converter is about to cut out because of an overload. The counter for electronic, thermal inverter protection gives a warning at 98% and trips at 100%, while giving an alarm.
- Err4 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Mains phase loss. This means phase is missing on the supply side, or the mains voltage imbalance is too high. This message also appears for a fault in the input rectifier on the frequency converter.
- Err5 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates DC link voltage high. This means the intermediate circuit voltage (DC) is higher than the high voltage warning limit.
- Err6 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates DC link voltage low. This means the intermediate circuit voltage (DC) is lower than the low voltage warning limit.
- Err7 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates DC overvoltage. This means the intermediate circuit voltage exceeds the limit, the frequency converter trips after a time.
- Err8 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates DC under voltage. This means the intermediate circuit voltage is lower than the inverter’s Undervoltage limit the inverter will be switched off until the UDC once more goes above the undervoltage limit.
- Err2 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicate Live zero error. This means the signal on one of the analog inputs is less than 50% of the minimum value programmed for that input. Broken wiring or faulty device sending the signal can cause this condition.
- Err36 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Overtemperature. This means the temperature inside the power module rises above 75 - 85 °C (depending on the device) the frequency converter will emit a warning, and the motor will continue to run unchanged.
- Err35 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Inrush fault . This means too many power-ups have occurred within a short time period.
- Err34 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates HPFB communication fault. This means the fieldbus on the communication option card is not working due to incorrect parameter or wiring problem.
- Err33 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Out of frequency range. This means the output frequency has reached Output frequency low limit (parameter 201) or Output frequency high limit (parameter 202).
- Err18 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates HPFB bus timeout. This means there is no serial communication to the frequency converter’s communication option card.
- Err17 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Serial communication timeout. This means there is no serial communication to the frequency converter. The warning will only be active when 514 Bus timeout function is set to a value other than OFF.
- Err16 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Short circuit. This means there is short-circuiting in the motor or motor wiring or hardware issue in drive power card ot control card.
- Err14 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Earth (ground) fault. This means there is current from the output phases to ground, either in the cable between the frequency converter and the motor or in the motor itself.
- Err13 fault in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Over current. This means the inverter peak current limit is exceeded. The warning lasts about 1.5 s, then the frequency converter trips and issues an alarm.
- Err12 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Current limit. This means the output current is greater than the value in parameter 221 Current Limit LIM, and the frequency converter will trip after a set time, selected in parameter 409 Trip delay overcurrent.
- Err99 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Locked. This means parameter lock, data changes in the parameters cannot be made.
- Err52 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates AMT missing motor phase. This means the AMT function has detected a missing motor phase.
- Err51 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates AMT Fault regarding nameplate data. This means there is inconsistency between the registered motor data. Check the motor data for the relevant setup.
- Err50 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates AMT not possible. This means the calculated RS value falls outside permitted limits or the motor current in at least one of the motor phases is too low.
- Err45 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Internal fault number 8. This means I/O fault (digital input/output, relay or analog input/output). Encountering an "I/O fault" related to digital input/output (I/O), relay, or analog input/output (I/O) typically indicates an issue with the input or output signals of a device.
- Err44 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Internal fault number 7. This means minimum software version of control card or BMC.
- Err43 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Internal fault number 6. This means a problem with the power card in an electronic device, often associated with power supply issues.
- Err40 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Internal fault number 3. This means there is an hardware issue in drive control card.
- Err39 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Internal fault number 2. This means RAM fault on control card, it suggests there's an issue with the Random Access Memory (RAM) on the control card of your equipment.
- Err37 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Internal fault. This means there is an hardware issue in drive power card or control card.
