Err12 in danfoss VLT2800 drive indicates Current limit. This means the output current is greater than the value in parameter 221 Current Limit LIM, and the frequency converter will trip after a set time, selected in parameter 409 Trip delay overcurrent.

1. If the motor torque limit is exceeded during ramp up, extend the ramp up time.
2. If the generator torque limit is exceeded during ramp down, extend the ramp down time.
3. If torque limit occurs while running, possibly increase the torque limit.
4. Be sure the system can operate safely at a higher torque.
5. Check the application for excessive current draw on the motor.
