Cause : Current warning high comes when the output current is higher than the value in parameter 213. A "Current Warning High" in a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) typically indicates that the current being drawn by the motor has exceeded a specified threshold or is higher than expected.
- Overload Conditions: Excessive load on the motor can cause the current drawn by the motor to exceed its rated capacity. Check for mechanical issues such as jams, blockages, or overloading of the driven equipment. Reduce the load if necessary to prevent overloading the motor and VFD.
- Voltage Fluctuations: Voltage fluctuations in the power supply can affect the current drawn by the motor. Ensure that the input voltage supplied to the VFD is stable and within the specified range. Voltage spikes or drops can occur due to issues with the power supply or distribution system.
- Parameter Settings: Review and adjust the VFD's parameter settings as needed. Ensure that the acceleration and deceleration rates are appropriate for the application to prevent sudden changes in current that could trigger warnings. Also, check that the current limit settings are correctly configured to protect the motor.
- Motor Parameters: Review the motor parameters and VFD settings to ensure they are configured correctly for the application. Verify that the VFD is programmed to provide the required torque and current for the motor to operate efficiently under normal conditions.
