Cause : Over current comes when the current of the main circuit is more than the instantaneous current of the servo drive. This is a serious alarm that signifies the drive has detected an excessive amount of current flowing through its output stage, which could potentially damage the drive or the motor.
al001 delta indicate Over current. This means the current flowing through the motor exceeds the permissible limit. A direct short between any two motor phases (U-V, U-W, V-W) or a short to ground in the motor windings or the motor cable will draw excessive current.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Follow these steps to correct al001 delta:
- Check if the wiring between the motor and the drive is correct and see if the wire is short-circuited.
- Check if the wiring steps are correct when connecting the motor to the drive.
- The temperature of the heat sink is abnormal.
- Use a multimeter to check the resistance between all three motor phases (U-V, U-W, V-W).
- Check the wiring at the drive's output terminals for any loose connections or accidental shorts.
