Cause : Current limit comes when the drive has exceeded its maximum allowable output current. This fault is a protective mechanism to prevent overheating or damage to both the motor and the drive.
"current limit" fault in "delta drive" indicate that the current drawn by the motor exceeds the rated current limit. This means the motor demands more current than the drive's limit.
Cause of current limit fault:

- Motor Stalling: The motor is stalled or unable to rotate, causing excessive current draw.
- Mechanical Jamming: There is a mechanical obstruction preventing the motor from rotating, resulting in high current.

Troubleshooting Steps:
- Check Motor Load: Ensure that the motor is not overloaded. Verify that the load on the motor is within its rated capacity.
- Inspect Motor for Stalling: Check if the motor is stalled or unable to rotate. Look for any mechanical obstructions or binding.
- Verify Drive Settings: Ensure that the drive's current limit setting is appropriate for the connected motor and load.
- Check for Mechanical Issues: Inspect the mechanical components of the system, such as couplings, belts, and gears, for any signs of damage or misalignment.
- Measure Motor Current: Use a clamp meter to measure the motor's current draw. If it exceeds the drive's current limit, there is a problem.
