Cause : Over-voltage during acceleration comes when the output voltage from the drive to the motor has exceeded a specific limit during the acceleration phase.

The ovA error code on your Delta MS300 drive indicates an Over-voltage during Acceleration condition. This means the DC bus voltage is higher than the level.

  1. Decrease the acceleration time.
  2. Use a braking unit or DC bus.
  3. Check if the input voltage is within the rated AC motor drive input voltage range, and check for possible voltage spikes.
  4. The setting for the stall prevention level should be larger than no-load current.
