Cause : Over voltage comes when the voltage of the main circuit is higher than the standard voltage. The power supply connected to the drive may be providing a higher voltage than the rated voltage of the drive.

AL002 alarm in delta ASDA-A2 servo drive indicates Over voltage condition. This means the voltage supplied to the drive exceeds the permissible limit.

  1. Check the connections for the regenerative resistor.
  2. Use the voltmeter to see if the input voltage of the main circuit is within the rated allowable voltage value.
  3. Check the voltage rating of the power supply and ensure it matches the rated voltage of the drive.
  4. Check the drive parameters related to voltage limits and protection settings.
