Cause : Regeneration Error comes when a wrong regenerative resistor is selected or the external regenerative resistor is not connected.

AL005 alarm in delta ASDA-A2 servo drive indicates Regeneration Error. This means the regenerative braking energy is exceeding the capacity of the built-in or external regenerative resistor. This typically occurs when the motor is decelerating rapidly or when the load on the motor is suddenly released.

1. Check the connections for the regenerative resistor.
2. Check if parameter P1-53 of regenerative resister is set to zero.
3. Check the setting values of parameters P1-52 and P1-53.
