Cause : Input voltage is too high comes when the servo drive detects no regenerative power, but other regenerative energy (such as interference) is input to the servo drive, or voltage input is higher than the permissible rated voltage.

AL086 alarm in delta ASDA-A2 servo drive indicates Input voltage is too high. This means the servo drive detects no regenerative power, but other regenerative energy (such as interference) is input to the servo drive, or voltage input is higher than the permissible rated voltage

  1. Use a voltmeter to measure if the input voltage from the power source is within the permissible rated value.
  2. Check if the issue persists when the voltmeter detects that the voltage from the main circuit is within the permissible rated range.
