Cause : Overcurrent trip during constant speed comes when the abrupt fluctuations in the load or abnormal load conditions. The inverter output current exceeds the rated current during constant-speed operation, the protection circuit is activated and the inverter trips.

0c3 fault in fuji FRENIC MEGA drive indicates Overcurrent trip during constant speed. This means that while the motor was running at a steady speed, the current drawn by the motor and processed by the inverter exceeded the drive's safe operating limits, triggering its protective shutdown.

  1. Check the load.
  2. Check the input power source.
  3. Choose higher capacity drive.
  4. Check the encoder and its wiring.
