Cause: Inverter overload comes when the temperature inside inverter has risen abnormally. This means that the VFD's internal electronic thermal overload protection has detected that the motor is drawing excessive current for an extended period, exceeding its nominal operating limits.

0lu fault in fuji FRENIC MEGA drive indicates an Overload of Motor Fault. This means the inverter (drive itself) has experienced an overload condition, where the output current has exceeded the inverter's rated current for too long.

  • Measure the temperature around the inverter.
  • Check whether decreasing the torque boost (F09*) does not stall the motor.
  • Measure the output current.
  • Disconnect motor from the load and run unloaded. If the fault disappears, the load is likely too heavy or has mechanical problems.
  • Make sure the drive rating ≥ motor full load current.
  • Check motor data in parameter.
