E17.00 fault in inovance IS580 drive indicates Pre-charge relay fault. This means the drive’s power-up sequence when it tries to safely charge the DC bus capacitors through a pre-charge resistor. This fault indicates that the DC bus voltage did not rise correctly, or the pre-charge relay failed to close or switch properly.

1. Replace drive board or power supply board.
