Cause : Motor ground fault comes when one or more of the motor phases (U/V/W) are shorted to earth/ground. 

E23.00 fault in inovance IS580 drive indicates a Motor Ground Fault. This means the drive has detected that current is leaking from the motor or motor cables to ground, which is a serious safety issue and can damage the drive.

1. Wiring of inverter and motor get phase-to-phase short circuit.
2. Damage of the inverting module IGBT.
3. Check whether the electric motor coil is short circuit.
4. A failed gate drive board or power board.
5. The drive inverter section (IGBT) is shorted.
