E42.04 fault in inovance IS580 drive indicates BUS card fault. This means there is a problem detected in the communication BUS card/module inside the drive that handles CAN communication.
- Internal electronics or components on the BUS card damaged.
- Poor seating of the BUS card on the drive.
- Insufficient or unstable voltage supply.
- External spikes damaging the BUS card.
