E62.00 fault in inovance IS580 drive indicates Braking IGBT short-circuit. This means the braking IGBT has detected a short-circuit condition. Essentially, the braking transistor (IGBT) inside the drive's braking circuit has either failed or detected an abnormal condition that looks like a short circuit.

  • Power down the drive immediately to prevent further damage.
  • Inspect the braking resistor and wiring for: open & short.
  • Measure braking resistor resistance with a multimeter — it should match the specified value, no short or open.
  • Check wiring and terminal connections for damage or loose connections.
