E62.02 fault in inovance IS580 drive indicates Braking IGBT gets overloaded. This means the braking IGBT is experiencing an overcurrent or thermal overload condition during braking.

  • Check if braking resistor is short-circuit, and if the resistance is proper.
  • Make sure resistor is the correct power rating and resistance for your drive/motor.
  • Ensure the drive's fans work properly, and the ambient temperature is within limits.
  • Increase deceleration time in the drive parameters to reduce braking energy spikes.
