invt drive fault codes explained. Easy-to-understand guide for diagnosing and fixing common drive faults. Improve equipment uptime.

Below list show invt drive fault codes:

  • ETH2 fault in INVT drive indicates Grounding shortcut fault 2. This means an ground fault overcurrent flows due to an earth fault that occurred on the inverter's output side (load side).
  • LL fault in INVT drive indicates Electronic underload fault. This means the inverter will report the underload pre-alarm according to the set value.
  • PoFF fault indicate that the indicates input voltage is too low. This means the input power supply is out of phase, and the drive voltage detection circuit is faulty.
  • ItE fault in INVT drive indicates Current detection fault. This means the connection of the control board is not good due to hardware issue in drive control card or power card.
  • tE fault in INVT drive indicates Autotuning fault. This means the motor capacity does not comply with the inverter capability and the rated parameter of the motor does not set correctly.
  • EEP fault in INVT drive indicates EEPROM error. This means the function code parameter writing error. This fault comes when hardware issue in control card of drive.
  • PIDE fault in INVT drive indicates PID feedback error. This means the PID feedback offline. A "PID feedback fault" in "INVT" drive typically refers to an error or issue related to the PID.
  • bCE fault in INVT drive indicates Brake unit fault. This means the braking line or braking pipe is broken or brake resistor rating is too lower.
  • END fault in INVT drive indicates Time reach of factory setting. This means the actual running time of the inverter is above the internal setting running time.
  • PCE fault in INVT drive indicates Keypad communication error. This means the keypad is not in good connection or offline or the part of the communication circuits of the keypad or main board have fault.
  • UPE fault in INVT drive indicates Parameter upload error. This means the keypad is not in good connection or offline and the part of the communication circuits of the keypad or main board have fault.
  • DNE fault in INVT drive indicates Parameter download error. This means the keypad is not in good connection or offline and  the part of the communication circuits of the keypad or main board have fault.
  • ETH1 fault in INVT drive indicates Grounding shortcut fault 1. This means an ground fault overcurrent flows due to an earth fault that occurred on the inverter's output side (load side).
  • OU3 fault in INVT drive indicates Over voltage when constant speed. This means the inverter's internal main circuit DC voltage to reach or exceed the specified value.
  • OL1 fault in INVT drive indicates Motor overload. This means the output current exceeds the motor full load current set in parameter.
  • OL2 fault in INVT drive indicates Inverter overload. This means the output current has exceeded due to load too heavy or acceleration too fast.
  • OL3 fault in INVT drive indicates Electrical overload. This means the inverter will report overload pre-alarm according to the set value.
  • SPI fault in INVT drive indicates Input phase loss. This means the input R,S,T have phase loss or imbalance. An Input Phase Loss "SP1" fault will occur when the DC bus ripple exceeds a pre-defined level.
  • SPO fault in INVT drive indicates Output phase loss. This means the open phase is present in the motor or when you run drive without motor.
  • OH1 fault in INVT drive indicates Heat-sink over heat. This means the heatsink temperature reaches the overheat fault level. The drive will display "oH1"
  • OH2 fault in INVT drive indicates IGBT overheat. This means the heatsink temperature reaches the overheat fault level
  • EF fault in INVT drive indicates External terminal fault. This means the external fault at multi-function input terminal or faults comes from external control circuit.
  • CE fault in INVT drive indicates Communication error. This means there is no control data was received from the connected PLC when using serial communications.
  • OUt1 fault in INVT drive indicates IGBT Phase-U fault. This means there's an issue related to IGBT Phase-U in the power stage of the drive, specifically affecting a particular phase's voltage.
  • OUt2 fault in INVT drive indicates IGBT Phase-V fault. This means there's an issue related to IGBT Phase-V in the power stage of the drive, specifically affecting a particular phase's voltage.
  • OUt3 fault in INVT drive indicates IGBT Phase-W fault. This means there's an issue related to IGBT Phase-W in the power stage of the drive, specifically affecting a particular phase's voltage.
  • OC1 fault in INVT drive indicates Over current in Acceleration. This means the over current during Acceleration. This fault appears when the motor is drawing excess current during acceleration.
  • OC2 fault in INVT drive indicates Over current in Deceleration. This means the deceleration time too short, large load inertia or inverter power rating too small.
  • OC3 fault in INVT drive indicates Overcurrent when constant speed running. This means the abrupt fluctuations in the load or abnormal load conditions.
  • OV1 fault in INVT drive indicates Over Voltage when Acceleration. This means the inverter's internal main circuit DC voltage to reach or exceed the specified value.
  • OV2 fault in INVT drive indicates Over voltage when deceleration. This means the drive internal main circuit DC voltage to reach or exceed the specified value.
  • OV3 fault in INVT drive indicates Over voltage when constant speed. This means the inverter's internal main circuit DC voltage to reach or exceed the specified value.
  • OU1 fault in INVT drive indicates Over Voltage when Acceleration. This means the inverter's internal main circuit DC voltage to reach or exceed the specified value.
  • OU2 fault in INVT drive indicates Over voltage when deceleration. This means the drive internal main circuit DC voltage to reach or exceed the specified value.

This is a comprehensive list of invt drive fault codes. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve common issues.
