Cause : Overvoltage trip comes when the converter's internal main circuit DC voltage reaches or exceeds the specified value, the protective circuit is activated to stop the outputs of the converter. The circuit may also be activated by a surge voltage produced in the power supply system.

• Check for sudden load change and excessive regeneration.
• Check that any power supply failure did not occur.
