E.PTC fault error code in Mitsubishi D700 drive

Cause : PTC thermistor operation comes when the inverter trips if resistance of the PTC thermistor connected between the terminal 2 and terminal 10 has reached the Pr.561 PTC thermistor protection level setting or higher. When the initial value (Pr.561 = "9999") is set, this protective function is not available.

  1. Check the connection with the PTC thermistor.
  2. Check the Pr.561 setting.
  3. Check the motor for operation under overload.
  4. Reduce the load.
