Cause : Safety circuit fault comes when the inverter trips when a safety circuit fault occurs. The inverter trips if the either of the wire between S1 and SIC or S2 and SIC becomes non-conductive while using the safety stop function.

  1. When not using the safety stop function, the inverter trips when the shorting wire between terminals S1 and PC or across S2 and PC is disconnected.
  2. Check that the safety relay module or the connection has no fault when using the safety stop function.
  3. Check if the shorting wire between S1 and PC or between S2 and PC is disconnected when not using the safety stop function.
  4. When using the safety stop function, check that wiring of terminal S1, S2 and SIC is correct and the safety stop input signal source such as a safety relay module is operating properly. Refer to the Safety stop function instruction manual for causes and countermeasures.
  5. When not using the safety stop function, short across terminals S1 and PC and across S2 and PC with shorting wires.
