Cause : Auto-tune Active comes when the drive is currently performing an automatic tuning process. This process is typically called auto-tuning or auto-tuning of the control loops.
During auto-tuning, the drive may automatically adjust parameters such as proportional gain, integral gain, and derivative gain (commonly known as PID parameters) to achieve better control performance and stability. It may also measure motor parameters such as resistance and inductance to improve accuracy.
- Will be reset when auto-tune complete.
- Patience: Auto-tuning can take some time to complete, depending on the complexity of the motor and the drive setup. It's essential to allow the process to finish before attempting to operate the motor.
- Do Not Interrupt: It's crucial not to interrupt the auto-tuning process once it has started. Interrupting auto-tuning prematurely can lead to incomplete parameter adjustments, potentially resulting in suboptimal performance or instability during operation.
- Monitor Progress: Some drives provide status indicators or progress bars to indicate the auto-tuning progress. Monitoring these indicators can give you an idea of how much longer the process will take.
- Verify Settings: After auto-tuning completes, it's a good idea to verify the new control parameters and settings to ensure they align with the motor's specifications and operating requirements.
