Cause : Drive over-heat based on thermal model comes when the drive will attempt to stop the motor before tripping. If the motor does not stop in 10 seconds the drive trips immediately.
- Thermal model looks at DC Bus ripple as well as output current.
- This is to protect the DC Bus stage from overheating.
