O.ht3 fault in unidrive SP nidec control techniques drive

Cause : Drive over-temperature based on thermal model comes when the temperature of the power unit heat sink has exceeded the permissible limit.

  1. Check enclosure / drive fans are still functioning correctly.
  2. The drive will attempt to stop the motor before tripping. If the motor does not stop in 10s the drive trips immediately.
  3. Check enclosure ventilation paths.
  4. Check enclosure door filters.
  5. Increase ventilation.
  6. Decrease acceleration / deceleration rates.
  7. Check DC bus ripple
