Cause : SPEED FEEDBACK comes when the drive has been configured to run in Closed Loop Vector control mode with a Pulse Encoder IO Option, but the IO Option has not been correctly configured.
SPD SPEED FEEDBACK fault in Parker AC890 drive indicates that the drive is not receiving feedback signals from a connected sensor, such as an encoder or resolver. This can prevent the drive from accurately controlling the motor's speed or position.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Verify Sensor Connection:
- Ensure that the sensor is properly connected to the drive and that the cables are secure.
- Check for any signs of damage or corrosion in the cables.
- Test the Sensor:
- Use a multimeter or diagnostic tool to test the sensor's output signal.
- Compare the measured values to the expected specifications.
- Review Drive Configuration:
- Verify that the feedback signal type and parameters are correctly configured in the drive.
- Check for any errors or warnings related to feedback in the drive's status messages.
- Check Power Supply:
- Ensure that the power supply is providing the correct voltage and current to the sensor.
