  3. Flexible Automation:

    • Flexible automation combines the benefits of fixed automation and programmable automation to achieve a high degree of adaptability and efficiency. It allows for rapid changes in production processes and product configurations to meet varying demand and production requirements.
    • Flexible manufacturing systems (FMS), which integrate CNC machines, robots, material handling systems, and computer-controlled processes, are examples of flexible automation solutions used in advanced manufacturing environments.
  4. Industrial Automation:

    • Industrial automation involves the automation of manufacturing and production processes using various technologies such as robotics, control systems, sensors, actuators, and computer software.
    • It encompasses a wide range of automation solutions, including process automation, discrete automation, robotics, motion control, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  5. Office Automation:

    • Office automation refers to the use of computer-based systems and software applications to automate administrative tasks, document management, communication, and workflow processes in office environments.

  6. Home Automation:

    • It enables homeowners to remotely monitor and control various devices and systems using smartphones, tablets, or voice commands, providing convenience, comfort, energy efficiency, and security.
