Cause : IGBT overheat comes when IGBT have reached a temperature beyond their safe operating limits. This condition prompts the drive to shut down to protect the IGBTs from damage.

"F027" fault in Schneider drive indicate "IGBT overheat" condition. This means the IGBT internal temperature is too high for the ambient temperature and load.

Follow these steps to correct the fault:

  1. Check Motor Load: Ensure the motor is not overloaded and operating within its rated capacity.
  2. Verify Motor Parameters: Confirm that the motor parameters (power, current, voltage, etc.) are correctly entered in the drive.
  3. Inspect Drive Load: Verify that the drive is not overloaded.
  4. Check Cooling System: Ensure the drive's cooling fans are operating correctly and there are no obstructions blocking airflow.
