Cause : Precharge capacitor comes when the drive encountered an issue during the pre-charging stage, which is a crucial step before the motor starts operating.

The "CRF1" Precharge capacitor fault on a Schneider ATV610 drive indicates an issue with the precharge circuit, specifically with the precharge capacitors. The precharge circuit is responsible for gradually charging the DC bus capacitors to prevent an inrush of current when the drive is powered on. A fault in this circuit can prevent the drive from operating correctly.

  1. Turn off the device and then turn on again.
  2. Verify the setting of [DC Bus Source Type] DCBS.
  3. Verify the mains supply voltage and stability.
  4. Verify the parameters of [Undervoltage handling].
