Cause : Fieldbus fault comes when the drive is encountering issues communicating with another device over a fieldbus network.

The "EPF2" Fieldbus fault on a Schneider ATV950 drive indicates "External error detected by Fieldbus". This means an event triggered by an external device, depending on user. The error is caused by the fieldbus or an application program.

1. Remove the cause of the external error.
2. Verify the external circuit in the system which has triggered the error message.
3. Verify the PLC program which has caused the error message.
4. Verify the communication parameters.
5. Monitor with the commissioning software [Fieldbus Error] EPF2 parameter.
