Cause: AFE Short Circuit error comes when AFE rectifier IGBT short-circuit or a short circuit within one or more power modules within the AFE.
"SCF6" fault in Schneider ATV950 drive indicate " AFE Short Circuit". This means there is an issues within the control circuitry of the AFE.
- Visually inspect the drive for any signs of overheating, damage, or burning smell.
- Ensure the drive is not overloaded and the connected motor and load are operating within specified limits.
- Check for any anomalies in the input power supply (voltage, current, frequency).
- Verify the cables connecting the AFE brick to the mains.
